Natalia Balakhnicheva is a prima ballerina of The Kremlin Ballet theater.
In 1994, she graduated from Perm State Choreographic School (class of L.P. Sakharova) and was invited to The Kremlin Ballet theater to the position of a soloist.
Natalia Balakhnicheva is a laureate of the Moscow Award, a winner in the International Ballet Contests in Paris (1992) and St. Petersburg (“Maya”, 1994), laureate of The Triumph Youth Award and the Moscow Debuts award for her interpretation of Lyudmila in Ruslan and Lyudmila.
For many years, Natalia Balakhnicheva has prepared her parts under the guidance of great Russian ballerina Ekaterina Sergeevna Maximova.
Over the years, in The Kremlin Ballet the repertoire of the ballerina included the following parts: Juliette in Romeo and Juliette, Giselle in Giselle, Princess Aurora and Princess Florine in The Sleeping Beauty, Odette - Odile in Swan Lake, Marie in The Nutcracker, Snegurochka in The Snow Maiden, Lyudmila in Ruslan and Lyudmila, Pas d'esclave in Le Corsaire, Cinderella in Cinderella, Esmeralda in La Esmeralda, Anastasia in Ivan the Terrible, Leda in Zeus, Becky in Tom Sawyer, Kitri in Don Quixote, Countess Almaviva (Rosina) in The Marriage of Figaro, Princess Badroulbadour in One Thousand and One Nights, Pamina in The Magic Flute, the Seventh Waltz, Prelude, and the Eleventh Waltz in Les Sylphides, etc.
She also danced in the performances of the Russian Seasons of the 21st century project: the Beautiful Tsarevna in The Firebird, Agnes in Le Pavillon d'Armide, The Young Girl in Le Dieu bleu, Tamara Karsavina in Cleopatra – Ida Rubinstein.
As a student of Perm State Choreographic School, Natalia Balakhnicheva became the heroine of the Captives of Terpsichore documentary, and in 2006 she starred in Captives of Terpsichore-2.
Natalia Balakhnicheva participates in the tours of The Kremlin Ballet throughout Russia and abroad, including France, Italy, China, Thailand, the United Arab Emirates, Greece, Spain, Germany, South Korea and other countries.
She performs with other troupes as a guest ballerina.
Currently, Natalia Balakhnicheva improves her skills under the guidance of Galina Arkadievna Shlyapina, People's Artist of the Russian Federation.
She rehearses under the guidance of Lyudmila Mikhaylovna Charskaya.
