Principal dancer

Mikhail Evgenov is a star dancer of The Kremlin Ballet theater.

In 1995, he enrolled to the Bashkir Choreographic School named after Rudolf Nureyev.

In 2001-2006, M. Evgenov worked at the Bashkir Theater of Opera and Ballet, from 2006 to 2009 - at the Yekaterinburg Opera and Ballet Theater, where he performed such parts as Prince Siegfried and Von Rothbart in Swan Lake, Prince Désiré, four Cavaliers in The Sleeping Beauty, Prince and the Mouse King in The Nutcracker, Solor and Slave in La Bayadère (Yekaterinburg), Espada in Don Quixote, Albrecht and Hilarion in Giselle, James in Les Sylphides, Romeo and Paris in Romeo and Juliet, Lucien in Paquita, Pas de Trois, Poet in Les Sylphides, Prince in Cinderella, Franz in Blue Danube - Ufa, Jean de Brienne in Raymonda, Lankendem,  Slave in Le Corsaire, Yekaterinburg, Danila in Stone Flower, Yekaterinburg, in the choreography of A. Petrov, Adam in Creation of the World, Jose in Carmen Suite, Sambulat in Arkaim, Ufa, in the choreography of A. Petrov), Bacchus in Walpurgis Night.

Since 2009, Michael Evgenov has been a leading soloist, then the star dancer of The Kremlin Ballet theater.

In the theater the dancer’s repertoire includes Albrecht in Giselle, Prince Siegfried and Von Rothbart in Swan Lake, Romeo in Romeo and Juliet, Ruslan in Ruslan and Lyudmila, Conrad and Birbanto in Le Corsaire, Quasimodo and  Phoebus de Châteaupers in La Esmeralda; Russian doll in The Nutcracker, Mizgir in The Snow Maiden, Persian King Shahriyar in One Thousand and One Nights, Prince – the Beast in The Beauty and the Beast, Espada in Don Quixote, Count Almaviva in The Marriage of Figaro, Zarastro in The Magic Flute, Solor in La Bayadère, etc.

Michael Evgenov extensively tours throughout Russia and abroad.

His mentor is Valery Viktorovich Ryzhov, honoured artist of the Russian Federation.
