35th Anniversary of Vladimir Kuzmin rock band Dinamik

Vladimir Kuzmin’s band ‘Dinamik’ will be celebrating their 35th birthday in the Kremlin Palace on February 8, 2018.

The year 2017 marked the 35th anniversary of the legendary rock band Dinamik.
In May of 1982 Vladimir Kuzmin had already been a renowned Soviet musician. He founded his own band Dinamik together with Sergey Ryzhov (bass), Yuri Chernavsky (piano), and Yuri Kitaev (drums).

The band was an immediate success. They teamed up with Tashkent Circus and made their first successful tour across the country. In between the tours the band managed to release a double album (known as Dinamik-82) that was unexpected in both the genre and the lyrics. The band’s first tour program featured all kinds of genres from blues and rock’n’roll to reggae and “new wave”. Lyrics of Kuzmin’s songs were summaries of his personal experience and observations that were processed through his unique sense of humor. The author, anticipating the claims of censorship, called these works "musical feuilletons." Kuzmin’s music labeled as “Soviet rock” was marked by high professionalism not typical for the underground music of the time as well as by the ironic look on things. He wasn’t weighing anyone down with problems, as one could say now. Millions of fans appreciated that. Young people loved the band’s rock songs.

Currently Vladimir Kuzmin and Dinamik are actively touring wide across Russia and abroad. The halls get full with fans of the true rock music who are frequent visitors of the loudest rock festivals and motorcycle shows. Vladimir has not given up on his own bike either and still takes it for a ride every now and then.

Perhaps, it is impossible to find anyone in Russia or a neighboring country who hasn’t heard any of Kuzmin’s songs. Music hits “Ey, Krasotka!”(Hey, Pretty One), “Skazka V Moyey Zhizni” (Fairytale in My Life), “Sibirskie Morozy” (Siberian Frosts), “Kogda Menya Ty Pozovesh” (When You Call Me), “Ya Ne Zabudu Tebya” (I Won’t Forget You), “Moya Lyubov” (My Love) don’t let anyone stay indifferent.

This time Dinamik will perform all of their best songs. You will see how many hits they have made during these 35 years.
