In the frames of the cycle “Romanciada Stars in the Kremlin” by Galina Preobrazhenskaya, Honored Art Worker of Russia we continue to introduce our audience to the laureates of the famous contest of Russian romance. On October 12 Dmitry Zuev, one of the best contemporary baritones, will present his new program at the Diplomatic Hall.
His name is primarily familiar to opera art admirers: Dmitry Zuev is one of the leading soloists of the Stanislavsky and Nemirovich-Danchenko Music Theater where his incredibly performed Onegin, Bolkonsky, Figaro, Don Juan…
It is impossible to enumerate all his roles as Dmitry also appears at the Mariinsky opera as well as at many other opera stages of the world – wonderful voice, impressive stage look, rare plasticity and performance intelligence make Dmitry a noticeable figure of contemporary opera.
And his appearance in the concert genre is not occasional – the Moscow audience will recall his programs containing romances by Tchaikovsky and Rakhmaninov, baroque chamber music, songs devoted to the Great Victory and the collection of the most beautiful Naples songs. Naturally, it is not by chance that Dmitry Zuev easily and brilliantly won the April 2019 Romanciada contest and has got the Grand Prix there.
On October 12, the exquisite and cozy stage of the Diplomatic Hall will give us the chance to listen to the outstanding singer performing in different genres of music and delivering different images, as his range of creative interests is wide and diversified. Dmitry’s colleagues and teachers will be there to support him and you, friends, will meet wonderful young singer whose motto is “Cantata per la vita!” or “Singing is Life!”
