The main stage of Russia to host the ballet "Crystal Palace" to the music of Alexey ShorOn September 10, 2018, at 19:00, the Great Hall of the State Kremlin Palace will host the Russian premiere of the ballet with operatic elements - "Crystal Palace".
The initiator and lead organizer of the Project is the European Foundation for Support of Culture (EFSC) headed by Konstantin Ishkhanov. The première of the ballet in Moscow has been organized in collaboration with the Association for Support of Cultural Initiatives (APKI) and the State Kremlin Palace.
The audience will enjoy a bright costumed performance with luxurious Baroque decorations and the participation of Ivan Vasiliev, world-famous ballet star, and artists of the Bolshoi Theater and the Mikhailovsky Theater. The director and choreographer of the ballet are Ekaterina Mironova and Alexander Somov. The ballet also involves the children's choir of the Bolshoi Theater and the School of Classical Dance headed by Gennady and Larisa Ledyakh.
The ballet is set to the music of a famous American and Maltese composer Alexey Shor, whose works are recognized around the world. The plot of the performance is based on a historical episode that took place at the court of the Russian Empress Anna Ioannovna, whose role will be performed by a magnificent Ornella Muti.
The two acts performance will be accompanied by the Moscow Symphony Orchestra of Soloists headed by a famous conductor, multiple winner of the Golden Mask award Pavel Klinichev.
The only performance of the ballet "Crystal Palace" in Russia is a large-scale event, the unique character of which is emphasized by intercultural theatrical and musical connections.

Act One
Scene One
Two lovers are in the Garden of Eden. An Angel appears and injuries them with an arrow.
Scene Two
Horn sounds. Tsarist carriage is approaching. Courtiers, huntsmen, servants ... The Empress appears. Shots are heard ...
Scene Three
Early morning is in the Winter Palace. In the boudoir of Anna there are maidens and her favoured people. Anna is keen on public affairs. She commands her staff to create a cadet corps, to send an expedition of Vitus Bereng to Kamchatka and gives the order to create a "dance school" at the request of Jean Baptiste Lande. A ballerina and young pupils learn ballet pas. Everything turns into a home theater.
Scene Four
The courtiers gather in front of the Palace’s park. The festivities and carnivals await them.. The Empress is surrounded by the jesters and entourage. Theatrical performance begins. Live pictures replace each other. The flowers, butterflies, birds of paradise and jesters are dancing. Finally, the lovers appear. Anna melts as she witnesses the tender feelings of the loving jesters . It is the reason for another celebration. She declares a wedding.

Act Two
Scene Five
Opera diva in the image of the White Lady comes to a frozen flower garden. The Empress and the newlyweds arrive on a big wedding cortege. The Fairy of the Frozen Garden gives the bride a veil and the Empress presents a cage with birds of paradise. The wedding cortege is leaving loudly. The lovers stay with each other in the Ice Palace.
