Event Dedicated to the Day of the Russian Federation National Guard Troops

On May 2, the State Kremlin Palace will host a solemn concert dedicated to the Day of the Russian Federation National Guard Troops.

The Russian Federation National Guard Troops are a state military organization responsible for ensuring state and public security, protection of human rights, civil rights, and freedoms.

Every day the National Guard Troops perform the following tasks: protection of public order, ensuring public safety; protection of important state facilities, special cargoes, and facilities on communications in accordance with the lists approved by the Government of the Russian Federation. They are involved in the fight against terrorism and extremism; provide regimes of emergency and martial law, the legality of counter-terrorism operations regime; participate in territorial defense of the Russian Federation; assist the border authorities of the Federal Security Service in the protection of the State border of the Russian Federation, carry out Federal state control (supervision) of compliance with the legislation of the Russian Federation in the field of arms trafficking and in the field of private security activities, as well as ensuring the safety of objects of fuel and energy complex, the activity of units of protection of legal entities with special statutory tasks and departments of departmental protection, protect especially important and regime objects etc.

On this day of celebration, the best representatives of Russian variety performance will entertain the staff of the National Guard on the stage of the Kremlin Palace.
