On October 29, the Diplomatic Hall of the Kremlin Palace will host a concert of talented young guitarist Nikita Boldyrev. The musician will present his new program called FINGERSTYLE. Latino. Jazz.
Nikita Boldyrev is a laureate of numerous national and international competitions, a winner in classical and jazz nominations, which is rare enough for modern guitarists. The creative work of this guitarist is based on the junction of classical and jazz music. Stylistically, his repertoire can be described as "jazz on classical guitar" and "fingerstyle." This was the basis for the creation of a new program. The concert will feature works written in the most modern direction of fingerstyle guitar art, jazz hits in the author's interpretations, plays in incendiary rhythms of the latino and bossa nova styles.
Music by composers Henry Mancini, George Gershwin, Antonio Carlos Jobim, Paul Desmond, Gennady Gladkov, Yuri Markin, and Nikita Boldyrev will also be presented. There will be o lot of surprises for the audience that are sure to create a good mood.
In 2001, Nikita was included in the World Records Book for "having established the world record for the speed of mastering the guitar repertoire" (the formulation of the Russian bureau for the records registration). While studying in college, he was a grant-holder of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation and V. Spivakov Foundation. In 2006, Nikita was awarded a state grant to support talented youth under the RF Presidential Decree.
Nikita Boldyrev performed with solo concert programs in the cities of Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Moldova, participated in guitar and jazz festivals in Russia, Poland, Austria, Serbia, Ukraine, and Belarus, including the Guitar World festivals (Kaluga, 2009, 2013), Virtuoso Guitarists (Moscow, 2012), and Strings (Serbia, 2015).
In the 2015-2016 season, he performed with concerts and master classes in Moscow, Vladimir, Saransk, Chisinau, Orel, Belgorod, Stavropol, Fryazino, and St. Petersburg, and repeatedly took part in television and radio programs.
