Irina Krug. I Am Waiting

Having unleashed the imagination and following her long-time desire to combine the concert and drama performance, Irina Krug created a new program called “I Am Waiting”.

The genre of chanson, in which the singer works, has taken in the wealth of the of the human soul depths. It is melodic, emotional, sensual, and truthful, it combines the beauty of the sound of poetic strings and tunes with theatricality. The genre helped to implement the plan of the singer, and the international theater team brought the concept to life.

The connections of her own destiny twists and parallels of creative formation have led to the idea that all things happening throughout her life and career were similar to a change of seasons, the order of which fits "I Am Waiting". The theme of the seasons changing, makes it possible to clearly capture and tell about the events of a particular time interval. This theme has become the basis of what is happening on the stage, where the singer herself played the role of the protagonist.

This is the story of an ordinary woman who, faced with a terrible tragedy, did not slip into the abyss, but achieved all her desires, became one she did not even dream of becoming. Now she can move on. This is a story about how to live with love and how to live without love.
