28 December

A long-standing European tradition to celebrate Christmas and New Year with the music of Johann Strauss, inspired the CONCORD ORCHESTRA to create an annual show on the New Year's Eve. Strauss music is so beautiful and harmonious that one wants to listen it repeatedly. The Johann Strauss Snow-White Ball New Year Show will help you to make sure of this.

This is a terrific event filled with the magnificent music of the waltz king and magical dances. The waltzes of the Viennese composer are considered by many to be the benchmark of dance music performed on New Year's Eve everywhere in the world.

On December 28, 2019, at 21:00, the CONCORD ORCHESTRA invites you to its annual Johann Strauss Snow-White Ball New Year Show. Traditionally, this New Year Eve show will be held on the stage of the State Kremlin Palace.

The new program of this show includes the most popular waltzes, polkas and marches.

When the latter is performed, the audience usually beats the beat, and the conductor turns his face to them and conducts this applause.

This year the symbol of the New Year show "Snow-white Ball of Johann Strauss" is a white carnation. Therefore, the Grand Concert Hall of the State Kremlin Palace on this day will have a festive decoration with thousands of snow-white carnations turning it into a snow-white fairy tale.
