Jubilee concert of the Gzhel Moscow Academic Dance Theater : 30 Years of the Best Traditions

The gala concert of the Gzhel Moscow Academic Dance Theater “: 30 Years of the Best Traditions will be held at the State Kremlin Palace on December 4, 2018.

The event, timed to the 30th anniversary of the theater, will gather its pupils, friends and fans on stage . The concert will combine dance, vocals and the latest audiovisual technologies.

The show is produced by Alexei Frandetti, the two-time laureate of the Golden Mask Theatrical award . He defines the general concept of the jubilee show of the Gzhel Dance Theater as a revival of traditions.

“I would like to keep everything that has been found, invented and developed over these 30 years by the Gzhel Dance Theater, and to find some new sound in the celebration of the anniversary,”  Director confesses. – At the same time, I plan to get away from the protocol holiday as much as possible and make a play that "would take the viewer by the throat", would carry him to another reality.”

The Gzhel Dance Theater deserved the right to be considered the hallmark of Moscow.  Therefore, it is not by chance that the action on the stage of the SKT unfolds in various places of the modern Russian capital. There will be many high-tech solutions in the concert. “We will have a lot of videos, complex scenery, live orchestra, invited guests, – promises Alexei Frandetti. – We will show a lot of interesting things, because we really want to present both the participants of this show and, of course, its audience, who will come here, with a gift: a real holiday.”

The concert of the dance theater will be attended by the Vladimir Hornblowers ensemble , Turetsky Soprano art group  and many other invited artists.

The Gzhel Dance Theater was founded by the famous choreographer, National artist of Russia, professor Vladimir Zakharov in 1988 to the 650th anniversary of one of the most famous and recognizable native Russian crafts of Gzhel.
