On February 13, 2018 the State Kremlin Palace will host the German quartet KRAFTWERK. The electronic music pioneers will present a unique 3D show for you.
After a 13-year break KRAFTWERK is back in the Russian capital. Those who were at the 2004 concert are still elated. They say: “It was a truly remarkable event for all the electronic music fans. This is the kind of event you tell your grandchildren about”. These emotions are easy to explain, because every KRAFTERK’s concert is a grand show with extraterrestrial music, mesmerizing videos and robots that have become the mascot of the legendary quartet.
More than 40 years ago, KRAFTWERK realized that computers were part of the future, so they started using them in their work more than anyone at the time. It is believed that they were the parents of the electro, and many believe that KRAFTWERK is guilty even in the advent of techno. The band was founded as an experiment in Düsseldorf, in North-West of Germany, in 1970. A few years in, and the revolutionary sound landscape and music experiments with robotic technology became a hit in the whole world. Their songs that had been made using the newest technologies, computerized rhythms and vocoders had a huge influence on many music genres such as electro, synth pop, hip hop, and techno. Today Ralf Hütter, Fritz Hilpert, Henning Schmitz, and Falk Grieffenhagen give breathtaking 3D concerts which can be truly called Gesamtkunstwerk – absolute piece of art.
The musicians promise “full immersion” for their audience. 3D glasses will be given out just before the concert. The show in Moscow has every chance to become the biggest event of the next year. Let’s not forget that it was KRAFTWERK who created the soundtrack for the digital era of the XXI century.
