Mother's Day Event

On October 24, 2017, the State Kremlin Palace will hold a big festive event called For you, Mom dedicated to Mother's Day. Following the tradition, the Palace will bring together 5,700 mothers of many children from the capital.
During this event, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin will present the Muscovites’ families with the Parental Glory of the City of Moscow honorary signs.
The winners of the city marathon of family creativity under the name Moscow Family: the Road to Success, 2017 will rise to the main stage of our country together with pop stars. More than 400 adults and children from large Muscovite families will perform Hallelujah of Love from the Juno and Avos rock opera on stage. This will be the first time this song will be performed by such a big choir.
A specially invited representative of the Russian Book of Records will record how the assembled mothers will light 5,700 small hearts in the hall. A photo exhibition will be organized in the Heraldic lobby of the Kremlin Palace. The authors of the works are participants of the From Three to Infinity photo contest dedicated to large Russian families.
