Oleg Ivanov’s 70th Anniversary Concert

On March 22, 2018, legendary Russian composer Oleg Ivanov will be celebrating his 70th birthday on the main stage of the country in the State Kremlin Palace.

Oleg Borisovich Ivanov is a distinguished Russian composer and musician who has made a huge contribution to the development of contemporary music. His versatile talent and fundamental composer education let him successfully combine classic and popular genres.

The key element of Ivanov’s works is a song. Through songs the composer conveys his worldview full of positivity, a range of emotions and moods. They sound contemporary and have stayed relevant for almost 50 years now.

Many famous friends will come to congratulate the composer on his anniversary: Iosif Kobzon, Lev Leshchenko, Nadezhda Babkina, Tamara Gverdtsiteli, Aleksandr Serov, Sergei Zakharov, Aziza, Vyacheslav Dobrynin, Grigoriy Leps, Alexander Marshal, Jasmin, Soso Pavliashvili, Denis Maidanov, Dmitry Koldun, Varvara, Ruslan Alekhno, Diana Di, bands Syabry, NEW Samotsvety, Bayan Mix, Neposedy and many others. The anniversary program “Melody of Love” will feature his famous pieces “Olesya”, “Tovarisch” (Comrade), “Talaya Voda”(Melt Water), “Gorlitsa” (Dove), “Zavalinka” (On the Mound), “Pechki-Lavochki” (Preliminary Deal), “Gorky Med” (Bitter Honey), “Glukharinaya Zarya” (Capercaillie Dawn), “Samovary-Pryaniki” (Samovars-Gingerbread), “Na Chem Stoit Lyubov” (What Does Love Cost?), “Zatsvetaet Krasnotal” (Willow Blooms) and many of his other hits as well as some new songs.

The general producer of the concert is People's Artist of the RSFSR Lev Leshchenko.
