Rasmik Amyan

Razmik Amyan was born on January 8, 1982 in Stepanakert, NKR. In 1989-199 he attended secondary school named after Ashot Ghulyan in Stepanakert. In 1999 he moved to Yerevan where he continued his education at the Musical College named after Sayat-Nova and upon graduation he entered Yerevan Conservaroty where he majored in classical vocalism.  

During his studies years, in 2003 – 2005 he began his career at the State Song Theatre managed by Arthur Grigoryan. In 2006, he participated in the “New Wave” contest, in 2007 he participated in the “Sea Knot” international festival, and in 2008 in the “5 stars” international competition. Mr. Amyan is the laureate of “Tashir 2009”, “Tashir 2011”, and “Tashir 2013” prizes in the Best Singer nomination, as well as the National Prize winner in the “Best Singer of the Year” nomination (2009). In 2017, Razmik was awarded the title of Honored Artist of Armenia.
