Italian operatic pop trio "IL VOLO" will celebrate their tenth anniversary in Russia.
Russian concerts will be part of the world tour of the Eurovision Song Contest bronze medalists, which the artists devote to the release of their new album "Musica", as well as the anniversary of the trio. One of the concerts of the tour will be held on September 12 in the Great Hall of the State Kremlin Palace.
The incredibly rapid success story of "IL VOLO" began with the performance of a cover version of the famous Neapolitan song "O Sole Mio", after which the trio became a real favorite of the public: numerous concerts around the world, cooperation with Barbara STREISAND, Eros RAMAZOTTI, Toto CUTUGNO and other artists of international level, the victory at the prestigious Sanremo Music Festival 2015, the release of three platinum album, millions of records sold, 3rd place in the Eurovision Song Contest 2015 in Vienna, nomination in the Latin Grammy Awards, a contract with the American Label (for the first time in the whole history of Italian pop musicians).
The power of the voices, the sense of classicality that underlies their sound, youthful charisma - this is what distinguishes the trio of two tenors: Piero BARONE, Ignazio BOSCHETTO, and baritone Gianluca GINOBLE, among other musical groups.
At their concerts, the trio performs to the accompaniment of a symphony orchestra, so the repertoire of IL Volo appeals to listeners of all ages.
The famous Italian trio decided to celebrate the decade of their friendship and joint career on a grand scale: on February 22, the musicians released the long-awaited album Musica, and announced a world tour, which will last until 2020. However, according to the artists, these surprises are not to be over. The singers more than once confessed their love for Russia, which is why their Russian concerts became part of the IL VOLO world tour.
“We are grateful to Moscow for the warm welcome! It is incredible that music, imbued with the spirit of our native Italy, causes such a response from the Russian public! ”, say the musicians.
