On September 17 the State Kremlin Palace will host a grand solo recital by Irson Kudikova, a singer, a saxophone player and an actress, “Alpha Lady A”.
Irson is not only a showy but also an ingenious performer. Her unique voice range encompasses five octaves. She is a virtuoso in singing as well as in playing the saxophone. She prefers jazz, however, she sings in different music styles and trends and she is the author of music and lyrics to her songs.
Irson has released her album called “Dreams On” (2010), she has successfully cooperated with such world stars as Warren G. and Snoop Dog, and she has also recorded duets with renowned Russian singers, including Alla Pugachyova, Alexander Malinin, Sergey Mazaev, Alexander Marshal, Nikita Malinin, Alexander Sorkin (“G Point” Co-production Album), and with Al Bano, the Italian pop star. The Russian audience got to know this bright performer when in 2004 she took part in “Star Factory – 5”, a TV project where she got into the final.
At the stage of the State Kremlin Palace in her renewed concert program with her own big-band Irson Kudikova will perform jazz standard, her own hits and songs from the “Alpha Lady A” new album.
The concert where Irson will make her long-cherished dream come true – to perform together with a military orchestra - will be devoted to her birthday. She will sing her favorite patriotic songs with the choir of the officers representing the “Alpha” Counter-Terrorism Unit.
The concert will also feature Sheila Bonnik, the soloist of the “Boney M” legendary group.
