The Event Dedicated to the 85th Anniversary of Motor Roads SBI

On February 27, 2018, Motor Roads State Budgetary Institution, the largest organization of road-communal service, will celebrate its anniversary in the State Kremlin Palace.

85 years ago, by the decision of the Presidium of the Moscow City Council, the Moscow City Street Cleaning Trust was formed. It was responsible for cleaning two million square meters of city streets.

The system developed and changed, and to date the Motor Roads SBI is responsible for cleaning the roadway and sidewalks in the capital with a total area of 35.5 million square meters.

Over this period, Moscow has become an example for other cities in the country in the field of repair and quality of road surface cleaning. 30,000 employees of the organization work daily so that Muscovites and guests of the capital can comfortably move around the city at any time of the year. The fleet of the organization comprises about 6000 units of modern equipment, with the help of which all the assigned tasks are performed. The organization serves 555 objects of the road network, including the crucial routes in the city, including the Garden and Third Transport Ring, Moscow MKAD Ring Road, Tverskaya Street, Prospect Mira, Kiev Highway, etc.

On the stage of the Kremlin Palace, the leaders and leading employees of the Motor Roads SBI will receive awards from the Government of Moscow.

An exhibition devoted to the history and development of road servicing in Moscow will be organized in the foyer of the Kremlin Palace. There will also be a celebration concert for the guests.
