
Andrey Kondratov
Kondratov Andrey Yuryevich was born in Moscow in the family of the principal performers of the Bolshoi Theatre. In 1966 he graduated from the Moscow Academic Choreographic Institution. In 1965-1986 he was working in the Bolshoi Theatre of USSR where he was the first player of the following parts: Ilyas’s friend (“Asel”, ballet master O.M. Vinogradov), Piskarev (“Sketches”, ballet master A.B. Petrov). In 1986 Kondratov graduated from the Russian University of Theatre Arts (GITIS), the faculty of ballet masters. In 1990 he became the principal performer of the Kremlin Ballet Theatre where he was the first player of Banko in “Macbeth” and the captain of the cavalry in “The rest of the cavalry”. Since 1988 he has become a ballet master in the Kremlin Ballet Theatre. Among his apprentices there are: Maxim Afanasyev, Sergey Vasyuchenko, Aleksander Khmylov.
