Egor Motuzov
Egor Motuzov is a star dancer of The Kremlin Ballet theater.
In 2005, he graduated with honors from Perm State Choreographic School (class of Yu. M. Sidorov).
Since 2005, Egor has been a soloist of the Choreographic Miniatures St. Petersburg State Academic Ballet Theater named after L. Jakobson.
In 2007, he was invited for the position of a leading soloist at the Mari Opera and Ballet Theater named after E. Sapaev (Yoshkar-Ola), where he danced the following parts: Prince Siegfried and Benot in Swan Lake, Prince, Chinese doll in The Nutcracker, Prince in Cinderella, Basil in Don Quixote, Colas in La Fille Mal Gardée, the Bronze Idol in La Bayadère, Gringoir and Actéon in La Esmeralda, Romeo, Mercutio, and Benvolio in Romeo and Juliet, Grand Pas Classique d'Auber, George Balanchine Tarantella, Pas de Deux of Medora and Slave in Le Corsaire, Pas de Deux in Flower Festival in Genzano, etc.
Since 2011, Egor has been a star dancer of The Kremlin Ballet theater, where he dances the following parts: Prince Désiré and Bluebird in The Sleeping Beauty, Basilio in Don Quixote, Mercutio in Romeo and Juliet, Peasant Pas de Deux in Giselle, Gringoir and Actéon in La Esmeralda, Jester and Pas de Trois in Swan Lake, Lel in The Snow Maiden, as well as Drosselmeyer, Prince, Fritz and French doll in The Nutcracker; Figaro in The Marriage of Figaro, Sindbad in One Thousand and One Nights, Chernomor in Ruslan and Lyudmila, The Sun in The Beauty and the Beast ; Tamino and Monostatos in The Magic Flute, the Bronze Idol in La Bayadère, Pas d'esclave in Le Corsaire, etc.
Egor Motuzov is a laureate of numerous competitions including Young Ballet of Russia-2004 (Krasnodar, Second Prize), Tanzolymp-2005 International choreographic festival-competition (Berlin, Third prize), 10th International Ballet Competition (Moscow, diploma), Arabesque-2006 9th Open Competition of Ballet Dancers of Russia (Perm, Audience Choice Award), Arabesque-2008 10th Open competition of Russian ballet artists (Diploma and Prize for acting), All-Russian contest of ballet dancers named after Galina S. Ulanova (Krasnoyarsk, First Prize), International Ballet Competition in Tallinn (2014, First Prize and Best Duet Prize with Saori Koike).
His mentor is Andrei Y. Kondratov, Honored Artist of the Russian Federation.
