The Golden Age of Antonio Vivaldi program includes spiritual arias, Christmas motets and instrumental ensembles.
The greatest Italian composer of the 18th century, Antonio Vivaldi could hardly imagine that after two centuries, the records with his music will be sold in millions, and in all corners of the modern world people will enjoy his music. To the sound of Vivaldi's music people open in themselves the ability to experience beauty and to believe that dreams will surely come true. The most suitable time for this purpose, of course, is Christmas!
On January 7 the program from Antonio Vivaldi's compositions will be presented to listeners of the Diplomatic Hall of the Kremlin by winners of the international competitions – members of the ancient music ensemble of Laudes. Its peculiar structure - the flute, bassoon, viola, violins, violoncello and harpsichord - allows them to perform works of different genres through varying cast. The Laudes ensemble has gain true appreciation of listeners in many cities of Russia and Europe.
They will be joined on stage by the winners of the international competitions Elena Lopukhina (mezzo-soprano) and Demyan Fokin (violoncello).
